Re: Route Scout - Beta Testing

4.7.5 just went to beta testers - improved jittery "direction of travel" mode - changed map header tap from native popup to full sized page for easier readability with larger font - header tap is called "Top Stats" - "Top Stats" includes time of day, activity time, pinned track ETA, lat, lon, last b...

Re: Route Scout - GPS Topo Mapper

@garyc57 Probably not great for navigation in that mode yet. Normal fixed screen mode has a circle with a Galaga Tractor Beam. Theoretically it's the direction of travel. Direction of travel mode has a circle with a dot. Theoretically the screen is the direction of travel. You must be moving to be ...

Re: Route Scout - GPS Topo Mapper

@garyc57 Sounds similar to the "Pin To" feature in RS "Pin To"* is available under the Map menu IF a route has been imported AND set to Follow. There is nothing to tap or confirm in RS, it is audio based. - hiking a decent trail: distance & interval alerts can be conservative - off trail in a catcl...

@chumley I love when you post a 5 degree dip in the Skillet Party as if it means anything at all! So 10 days from now there’s going to be a rush of snowbirds and Autumn bliss in the air?

Nobody loves autumn more than the butterfly and I, keep up the positive vibes!

@rob_v
Found and fixed a load balancing issue on Route Cloud
RS import ID 1854 should load in just under a minute now

An easier option with more water sources in that vicinity is

RS import ID 797

Re: Can I post a PDF file?

Indeed you can also convert, post in a photoset then link in the description too. If you do please convert to .png without reducing size or it'll be an eyesore on retina displays. PDF by URL or FILE is preferred.

Yes for descriptions you have 2 options. Add by URL In the upper right of the description page click the "edit page" button. Put the URL link at the bottom of the text on the "text' tab. The Narrows closes when the flow rate is over 150 cubic feet per second (CFS), or during spring snowmelt. The Narrows also closes when a Flash Flood Warning is issued by the National Weather Service, and remains closed for two hours after the warning is lifted. Check the weather before you head int...
