Yesterday I traversed some of the peaks north of Table Mountain on the western flanks of Pima Canyon (see attached map), ending on Table Tooth before bush whacking back down. I am curious on a couple of points:
1) Do these points have a collective name (I've Googled and found one reference to them being called the Wolf's Teeth)?
2) Is anyone aware of this traverse being done before? I saw cairns on some of the summits. But stringing them together involved a tedious amount of route finding and a scary amount of Class 5 free soloing (both up and down) on some uncomfortably chossy rock. I would NOT recommend this route.

Re: Jawline Traverse
Thanks for the info on the name! Does anyone on here have an answer to question #2 above?

@jladderud
There was a pack of hikers back in the 90's doing stuff like that. They have mostly aged out or died. From SAHC, of course.

@azbackpackr
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought Linda Miller mentioned that it was the 80s but I'm sure that extended into the 90s as well.
One of the reasons I joined SAHC last year was to get a chance to talk to the members and ask questions about where they have or have not been.

@jladderud
Your treks are awesome.
I'd like to learn how to climb as good as you and then do some out of the way stuff like the towers to the left of cathedral in this photo: [ photo ]

Thanks! I love to get out and explore the spots right in my backyard where few have been before. The front range of the Catalinas is so beautiful! Those towers look grand. Even Cathedral is a worthy objective that I can't imagine gets all that many visitors each year. I need to get back up there!

@air
I didn't join until 1996, so I don't really know. I knew a few of those hikers, but I no longer live in Tucson, so I don't see them much.
