Backpacking early/mid November....
Anyone know if the falls are usually flowing and/or if there is standing water downstream that time of year.
Many thanks, in advance.

@Peter_Medal You will encounter standing water for sure, falls will depend on November rains, hopefully some cold November rains...

I drove Highway 88 yesterday all the way to the dam. It was a very muddy drive and I had it mostly to myself. The Fish Creek Hill took quite a beating for sure and with todays rain the falls should be flowing again.

Re: Reavis Falls...
Anyone have a guestimate as to how far Circlestone might be from the base of the falls? Trying to figure out if it is a realistic dayhike to camp at the falls and dayhike to circlestone. Or we were contemplating one night at the falls, break camp and find a spot along #109 after the turn off to the falls for our second night so we don’t have to backtrack to the falls. We’re coming in from the TH off the Apache Trail. Many thanks!

Re: Reavis Falls...
I think that's maybe 15-20 miles each way? You can't camp at the base of the falls. There's a campsite maybe a mile downstream of the falls.

Re: Reavis Falls...
I'd recommend camp at the campsite downstream from the falls night one, then move to the ranch itself or plow saddle for night two. It's still a reach to try to fit circlestone in there.

Re: Reavis Falls...
Thank you for the replies. I thought it seemed far so thank you for the confirmations. I’ll have to save that for another trip.
Thanks!
