Coronavirus and hiking

Now that we are living in the era of "social distancing", it shouldn't be too surprising to see some hiking venues closed.

Here are a couple of examples:

It would seem like hiking, especially in remote areas, would be one of the safer things that you can do...but with the frenzy that is going on, I imagine that there will be more closures in the coming days

The real irony to all of this is you are a cliche of a leftist Bernie Bro psuedo-Marxist, and I feel free to " Call out" you, as such. The insistence on adherence to government orders in all forms, the denigration of those who question, the choosing of facts to adhere to which support your ideology, the victimhood and call out culture tactics, the use of Marxist Style thought police beliefs about being Politically Correct under the guise of being nice, because we know facts and reality are dangerous, and I guess we all know that wrong think must be silenced to advance the narrative with out question and with strict adherence.

You always seem intelligent so it's rather surprising you think you know me based on posts in a hiking forum with very little user engagement. To think that I believe in a strict adherence to all government orders is absolutely laughable in comparison to how my life is lived. I do agree with government orders on certain subjects and I believe in and practice absolute disregard of government orders on others.

I wouldn't expect you to know this because we don't actually know each other-- but I would expect you not to assume you know me or to think that people can actually be pigeonholed into strict categories. Specific factors in people's beliefs can sometimes be cliche-- but people, themselves, rarely are.

And if you think I mind being accused of "cowering at home" because I don't want to add to the chances of both my loved ones AND complete strangers getting sick or losing their lives-- I do not care.

Everything I wrote that you quoted is based on how you act in this thread towards people and how it appears to fit a specific playbook. If you find that disagreeable I would suggest a little introspection and perhaps not going out of your way to flame people to inject yourself into situations where you add nothing, and instead appearing to be trolling for the purposes of that which I stated it earlier.

You can chime in, and it's your right to do so, but don't be insulted when your doing so time and time again makes it look like you are that which I accuse you of being. You see, perception is reality and that is my perception of you!
