Rain Collector on AZT 16
Looking to do a section hike that includes this area in the next couple of weeks. A recent guthooks report shows that there is water here but I've been screwed by guthooks in the past, even from a report within a couple of days, so curious if anyone has been through there recently and can report on the water. A rain collector in a year we didn't have any rain seems... suspect.

Apparently there's no way to know how much water might be in the collector at any given time, and there's no recent reports on HAZ for Passages 16 & 17. You're wise to be skeptical and should probably plan to carry enough water for both passages. Everything was definitely dry out there when I did the southern end of Passage 16 last month.
