Cave Creek/Skunk Tank Loop question
does this trail loop have any orvernight camping areas for backpacking, also is th creek a reliable source of water if filtered, or is it dry this time of the year? We are trying to do a desert camp but avoid carrying lots of water

I just did this loop today and there was lot's of running water in the creek.
Also don't let the fact that the fire burned alot kepp you from going. Most all the vegetation along the creek was left un burned. It was quiet a beautiful hike. I did the entire hike with my 100oz water pack filled and still had some left when I got back to my vehicle. Good luck! Jeff
