Towers on top of Mt in McDowell area.
Always see the towers on top of Mt in the McDowell area and can't find a way to get to the top of this mountain. Have heard you can't get up there as it's a private off limits road, but would love to go as far up as i can. Any one have any info on this? Looks like you can get to it from McDowell Mountain Park in Fountain Hills, but not sure.

The antennas are on Thompson Peak
information is here http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=221
McDowell Peak is better but, well read for yourself
http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=660
I don't know the recent access for Thompson
it doesn't matter, if you want to do either you will figure it out
if you're uncomfortable then don't go, similar to the Estrellas
actually after reading several of the triplogs it's pretty well documented
even a link
