Deem Hills Sunday Mar. 13

I hiked this area 6 years ago with my wife and then 8 month old daughter. At the time there was only one trail. Now there are enough to do them all and make it a 12 miler. Planning to do just that. Looks like I might already have 2 friends joining me for this. I should have confirmations on that one way or the other by the end of the week. I'll leave my house at about 5:30am so I should be at the TH by about 6:30am.

I did this hike on the same day, but started at 8 a.m. I am glad they finally labeled the trails. I only hiked about 3.5 miles, since I was out all week due to illness. It felt good to get out and hike and see the flowers along the trail. I love this area!

We parked on the east side and did the outer loop and then worked on the inner ones. I like the scenery up to the north that I normally never get to see, but the development has really creeped up to the edge of the hill. I remember more and more from 6 years ago how this was more remote than it is now. I can see this area getting more traffic in the coming years.
