Hiking in the Reavis Ranch area is something I anticipate each year as summer winds down. Perhaps a high perched apple will still be hanging around. This year I'd like to see Reavis Falls from above and this is the main goal. As I played around on Route MGR I couldn't resist throwing in Mound Mountain. So this loop will hit up two of the eastern sup gems in one fell swoop. Shouldn't be over 26 miles or 7k so how hard could it be...
Looking forward to lunch perched above the falls and a break in the orchards.
I will bet my money that the proposed route to the falls and back will be a day trip within itself.
Either way we will be looking forward to a very interesting trip report.

If you wake up early enough for this hike then rub liquid smoke in your eyes you'll swear you'd been camping
Weather...
the forecast is currently teeter tottering for the worst for Saturday. Rain mixed in with the magnitude of this hike does not sound like fun. I'll make a decision tomorrow evening. Go if the developing system appears to dwindle, cut out the Mound part if it seems borderline or change to Oct 15th and hope someone still tags along.
Either date I will be with you in spirit. Go in Tibber mode, or better yet take her along as then the trip from Reavis and back to the falls will diffently take a day and the pictures will be well worth it!

ya, and then I can get a picture of everyone at the beginning and at the end as that would be the only time I would see them ;) . But it's a nice thot.
For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination. Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.
Sounds like a good one, I'm in. I'll drive up from Tucson via Florence and just meet you all somewhere out there, wherever I can leave my Civic? (Another one of those times when I wish I had a truck instead of a low-riding car!!!)

Can you switch the start time to 9:30 am?
I have an early pedicure and exfoliation that I don't want to reschedule...
Oh what the Hello...
I'm in at the scheduled time..

Really Bummed about missing out on this one but I am going up to the Grand Canyon. Going to do some North Rim stuff that is in the book before it gets too cold. Have a great time!
