Ride for the Children (Sat, 4/20 @ 0800)

Saturday, 4/20, 0800, The Real Gift Foundation will host its annual bike ride to benefit area homeless kids. Rides are 10, 25 or 65 miles through Paradise Valley and, for the metric century, north Scottsdale, starting & finishing at Horizon HS at 56th St & Greenway. (You can decide on the fly which to do.) Personally, I will probably do the 25. This will be my fifth year in the last six. All the support folks do a wonderful job. If anyone is interested, might be fun to do this in Haz gear, to show some team spirit. ;)

Done this ride the past several yuears as well and have signed up already. Usually I ride one of my 84 Trek 660's but may ride my 04 Giant OCR-1. Desert Classic, Mining Country Challenge and Tour de Mesa also upcoming as well.
