Re: A unique hiker rescue
@DixieFlyer That’s wayyyy worse than the woman who got stuck between some boulders on South Mountain when she tried to retrieve her phone.
If my phone fell into sewage, I’d just be getting a new phone. There’s no way I’d carry around a phone after it touching all that yuck. It would never be clean enough.

Re: A unique hiker rescue
Sadly, this doesn't surprise me at all, and I too would be bidding my phone goodbye if it were me.

Re: A unique hiker rescue
That story just kept giving for such a short one! Drops the phone... Doesn't just reach in but MacGuyvers some support system? Support system fails... Reaches the phone to call it in (probably speaker phone? Imagine the gurgle sounds on the other side...). Tyvek suit they had laying around or just cut for her?!?
