Trail Maintenance on Campaign Trail (Superstitions)
There is a trail maintenance team camping at Oak Flat. They just started working the Campaign trail on Thursday I believe. Not sure how far they will get but they are doing a great job. Could definitely use some clearing.....and some switchbacks. One of the guys said he cleared West Pinto last year, but did not have time for anything but brush cutting. Seemed easy to follow for us.

Re: Trail Maintenance on Campaign Trail (Superstitions)
Was it a volunteer crew or a conservation corps (ACE, AZCC, etc.)? I passed a backcountry ACE crew on the Dutchman Trail in January doing light brushing and treadwork/erosion control.

Sorry, just getting back to this. They were all wearing what looked like forest service clothes. Mostly young people so I would guess it was not volunteers. Most likely getting paid.

Youth crews. The new Tonto Trails Coordinator should work on commission for all the grant money he scares up.
