I remember seeing these when I was at the Volcano House in 2022. I want to keep saying Fiddlenecks but it's Fiddleheads.

the hāpuʻu ʻiʻi tree fern is a significant plant with unique fiddleheads. This fern, endemic to Hawaiʻi, is known for its ability to "walk" along the forest floor due to its trunk's growth pattern. The hāpuʻu pulu fern is also found in the park, and its pulu (soft, downy material) was once a valuable commodity in the 1800s.
