There were so many berries and fruit trees and bushes. I don't recall ever walking through here and seeing so many. There could be a couple reasons: not as much moisture and I'm here later in the season.

UR Chokecherry tree (Prunus virginiana) laden with its distinctive red berries.
Middle: Rocky Mountain Maple (Acer glabrum). This species of maple is native to western North America and is known for its distinctive features and ecological role.
