I haven't heard the cause yet.
Firefighters responded to a significant blaze in Whitefish at an abandoned structure near Edgewood Place and Wisconsin Avenue on the evening of July 13. The Whitefish Fire Department arrived just after 7 p.m. to find the building fully engulfed in flames, with conditions deemed too dangerous for entry.
The building had lots of different businesses. Longtime residents on social media shared fond memories of the building, from Bob Frank’s butcher counter in Snappy’s, to playing games in Pizza Hut, to calzone-family favorite dinners in O’Piccolo’s.
A set of intricate wooden doors was all that remained in the rubble of the fire on Monday.
