But it's not just the 1930's bar that captivates; the vintage tin ceiling panels above add an extra layer of charm and history.

"The Night Owl" Formerly Known as "The Owl Club" Has Been Salmon's Fun Spot Since 1936. Yes, those are arrows. Someone said, "Somehow arrows seem more elegant than bullet holes. But that may just be us." Apparently it is a Salmon tradition to shoot arrows in the owl and not get caught.

The Owl Bar was built in 1903 as part of the original Belvedere Hotel. Back then, it was known simply as the Bar at The Belvedere and it was open only to men. During the Prohibition era, though, the business became much more lax and allowed women (and whiskey).
