We walked through this outdoor musem. It was nicely done. A lot of stuff happened around this area back in the day.

The Sacajawea Center, Lemhi County Historical Society, and City of Salmon have been working together over the past year to replace the interpretive panels at the History Park, located in downtown Salmon, Idaho. New interpretive panels were ordered in the spring of 2022 and are currently being installed by the City of Salmon Parks and Recreation staff. Sacajawea Center staff spent several days weeding, trimming trees, cleaning up garbage, and staining wood posts the panels are displayed in. This project was funded in part by the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation from the Lewis and Clark Trail Stewardship Endowment: A National Council of the Lewis and Clark Expedition Bicentennial Legacy Project. The Lemhi County Historical Society also received a grant to fund part of the project from the Idaho State Historical Society.
