Nice bench. Spattered Cone in the background. We would head up there through the viscious wind. The look into the cone was hard to decipher as it was in shadow and hard to see anything. However, the views were decent.

patter cones are miniature volcanoes formed from blobs of molten lava ejected during eruptions.
The eruption sequence that created the spatter cones at Craters of the Moon ended about 2,100 years ago.
