Incredible Sunset!!!! We made it to Battle Axe Wash by sunset. This is where the Jeep track comes down from Battle Axe Butte to cross the shallow ford at the Gila River. Follow the Jeep tracks south towards the river for a nice tenting spot on the north side just before the river. The exact same spot where we staged our truck earlier in the day!
