What a great day. It was 27 degrees at the start and 50 at the finish. I hiked up and took a break at the spring. I then shoed up and the fun began. The climb started right away. Over the next 2 miles, I would cross 3 snow bridges two of which had elk tracks on them. The third one I was a little nervous about and rightfully so...luckily I barely hit the water. I was training for some future hikes/shoes....45 pd pack
