| no partners | | This was a training hike with my heavier backpack. The forecast was 100% chance of rain, but I made it back in the frick of time. I ate my lunch at the falls at Tortilla Flats in the rain.
It must have rained sparingly on Sat. night because the trail was wet and so were the moss covered rocks which made for a couple of interesting climbs. Back in Oct, we went thru Geronimo Head on our way to Malapais. I remember the views from that area were top notch.I ended up stopping about a half mile before Geronimo Head.
Would I really subject myself to this torture for a $35 umbrella? My Chrome Dome fell out of my pack on the fatefull trip back in Oct. It is a great place to visit.
Did I find my umbrella....The answer is here ------->https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGo2x9PkHhk |
