| partners | | We had another chance to get out on the AZT so off we went. My brother in law (Thanks LES) helped us set up a shuttle and we were hiking by 8:00am. There was a little ice on the way in but not bad. There turned out to be a lot more ice and snow on the road we hiked down for the first half of the hike or so.The snow was frozen hard so we didn't sink in and get are pants wet but it was slippery to walk on.The temps were great so the snow was kind of fun.The views of Brown's Peak and Roosevelt Lake were awesome. The creeks were running and are always cool to check out. There were some catsclaw and route finding issues towards the bottom section but it all worked out.All and all a nice trip with great company. Thanks gentlemen for joining me on another passage of the AZT. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! |
