Was a good easy hike. The elevation is pretty much all in the beginning of the hike as you go down into the canyon. We took someone with us that had recently had back surgery and we felt really bad as we didn't research it enough. I've learned now how to read the data on this site more that would of be good to know then. Nevertheless, I wish there was a little more water flowing, as it was pretty minimal.

Be cautious of where you drop down into the canyon onto the creek floor. When you are coming back, you can easily pass right by it. I think I added 3 miles as I had to chase after my buddy that was headed back to get back to his girlfriend a couple hundred yards in front of me. He skipped the trail back up to the parking lot and I literally had to huff it about 1.5m down the creek. At least I got a good cardio out of it. :)

The very top waterfall (the 70 footer) I feel takes some experience to get to. Admittedly, we didn't go up there because i had a bit of 'pucker factor' that I was not expecting. Also, since there isn't really a set trail once you get down into the wash/creek, you are doing a lot of rock hopping and you will get wet so just be prepared for that.

Very fun day hike!
