Great day for a hike in the gorge -- and this hike is a popular one. Probably saw 100 people out on the trail today. So if you're looking for solitude, you'll have to hike this during the winter months! Water wasn't roaring as much as my previous visit (Feb 2010) but tunnel falls is still impressive. And the spray coming off felt so good on a warm day like today. Saw quite a few backpackers on their way out during the morning and saw loads of people coming to play in the creek on the trip back in the afternoon. A good hike and the longest hike my wife has done -- her new personal best for mileage.
