| no partners | | I used to come here every year when I was a kid. I had heard that this trail has become very crowded in the past few years. I thought that coming here on a Monday would alleviate the crowded trail. I was wrong. I couldn't believe my eyes, the entire parking lot was full at 8:30 a.m. on a Monday. Once we got on the trail, I relaxed, and really enjoyed the hike. We just went to the Punchbowl Falls. My cousin and I swam past the beach where the trail ends and continued to swim out underneath the falls. In this natural amphitheater, there are lots of rocks to sit on and enjoy the thundering roar of the cascade. Summer days in Oregon...mmm yes please.  |
