| no partners | | | Our 5th hike in the 7 days we spent in Bend, OR. First week this summer that the trail was free of snow so we could make it all the way to the lake. Lots and lots of mosquitoes although I did notice that as it warmed up, 80*, and got to around 2 PM they faded away. Lots of shade and a small lake at the turn around. Trees have grown around the lake to a point that you can no longer see South Sisters Mountain...so no mirror or reflection. |
