| no partners | | Staying in Wailea, Maui for nieces wedding and took the opportunity to do this fabulous hike. We took our rental sedan on "The Road To Hana", it's about 30 miles south on a narrow, sometimes dirt road with many one lane bridges. Since the hike was my idea...on the way I was starting to hope this hike would be all I've heard it would be. Lots of people on the trail so go as early in the day as you can. I've got to say the bamboo forest was as exiting to me as the 400 foot Waimoku Falls. Just got home so will need a few days to post the pics. Worth the drive? You decide once you've viewed the pictures. Hiked with Jude, Lori, Pax. |
