Went into the saddle this morning. My GPS came back with a different mileageelevation than the maps seem to have so I'm looking at that. It's very green and there was a lot of water in the stream course but none at either spring. It's so green, in fact, that the first part of the trail and two sections above Robinson are so overgrown it's like wading through water. It doesn't really matter since the trail's track is pretty clean beneath it. Anyone who wears shorts out there right now is nuts!!

This is the second trip into Florida where I've run into UDA's. :( This time they didn't run and pretty much ignored me so I returned the favor. The weather at the saddle was *excellent* and there's a lot of water flowing at Armour Spring. The wildflower action out there is pretty insane right now. All the way back through the Experimental Range, the road is flanked by blooming barrel cacti and clusters of some purple flowers and something else that looked like poppies with legume-ish leaves?
