A warm, nearly cloudless day with stiff afternoon breeze that kept us cool but made standing on exposed points a challange. We encountered about 50 other hikers and saw 3 occupied campsites - far fewer than we expected on a long, holiday weekend. Many fallen trees across trail, but only 2 impeded travel, and we were able to scoot under those on hands and knees. Mosquitoes are a problem close to the creeks.
