I haven't seen this much water since 1979. L V Yates and I used to take kids to camp at the base of Battleship Mtn at Second Water. We were trailing up the other side of Boulder Canyon when I was little and hauling out gem grade fire agate when I was about 10 in the early sixties. There was some water then, too.
The most I saw was in 79, tho. We had to wade Boulder Creek. It was waist deep. What a great reminder of how it was. |
