| no partners | | | My wife and I did part of this hike and had a wonderful experience. We probably went only about 2.5 miles down and back. The scenery was good throughout, with many aspen leaves still up, though many have already fallen, as expected. The trail is well maintained but small enough to feel intimate. We saw 4 or 5 other individuals or couples during the 2 hours we spent on the trail on this Friday afternoon. At least on this first part of the trail most of the time is spent under tree cover. |
