| no partners | | | Access via Sun Valley parkway. Started early to beat the heat, watching the sun come up as I approached the summit. Main peak has nice views, but smaller knob to the southwest is an awesome dome worth checking out. Both are easy scrambles with no exposure and only a few hundred elevation gain. Saw a desert tortoise on the way down making his way somewhere. If I had the time I would have loved to follow him and see where he was going. |
