| no partners | | Walking about a little above and below ground. I was just the tagalong on a channel 5 follow up with Brian about caves, the dangers, and the threat to these wonderful areas. Brians' friend Keith, a long time caver and canyoneer type guy joined in. I just enjoyed the nice weather and wandering in the woods, stuck my head in a hole or two.
FYI the Young road out of Lake Roosevelt ( 277?); climbing up from the Little Grand Canyon area the fire from last year just fried the area around Honey Creek Divide. It looks terrible. Expect some bad mud flows and tree fall if we get a significant monsoon this summer. If you plan to spend any time in that specific area or need to get though there late in summer I'd put a chainsaw in my truck.
The first article--link is still good I just tried it.
