| partners | | We had a late night on Friday (Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers Concert!) so Joel and I decided to do a short hike a bit later in the morning. SAHC had just the perfect adventure for us!
Cindy and Deb led us to Joe Camel Point, which is an overlook where you see a rock that looks somewhat like a camel's head. It was named by one of the guys in the hiking club many years ago. Whenever Cindy's name is associated to a hike you know it's going to be an adventure and there will probably not be any sign of a trail! My kind of hike!
We started at Windy Point and hiked down to Willow Canyon from there we followed another side canyon up to a ridge. At the end of the ridge we enjoyed a nice leisurely break looking out over the Catalinas. We had great views of Gibbon, Thimble, and Cathedral. |
