| no partners | | Dang - this is going to hurt my stats and make me look like a wuss this year, but I stopped by here on the way home from Parson's trail. It is interesting and worth the 20 minutes. As a hike it's a .6 but with the history and stuff - and if you are a photographer and need to bag this one for your trophy rack - it's a 1.6 which rounds to a 2. But make sure you get the entrance sign shot and the approach shot from the road.
Randall is right - this is a family friendly hike to get the kids interested in hiking. It is all on paved paths and has lots of benches on which to rest. Sort of Handicapped accessible if you push the wheelchair. And I ain't no wuss dammit. |
