Lots of T-storms the last couple of days. The storm produced at least 5 waterspouts within 5 miles of the platform before the rain even hit. The flare boom was struck by lightning and ignited which is why I have been unable to access permission to summit 47AP 
Cooled things off pretty good and made the post storm walking much more enjoyable. The helicopter was still there after the hoopla so I didn't get a weather day.
