| no partners | | | Heat-busting weekend. Started up the Beeline, but got turned around by a fire. Back home for some food, then up the I-17. Stoneman Lake, Ashurst Lake ... managed to catch a great sunset near Mormon Lake, and a beautiful campspot with great views. In the morning, a quick trip into Mormon Lake Village, then rolled into Clints Well on fumes. After filling up, Knoll Lake was calling, and a couple of hours swimming and playing there. Decided to exit on the east side where the weather turned spectacular, including a great rain shower with temperature down to 54 degrees plus a lightning strike and accompanying fire. Nice rainbow on the way home, and sunset over 4 Peaks and the Supes from the Beeline. Let's do it again! |
