| no partners | | It seemed like a fun way to spend Valentines day. Mike Has all of his own equipment but wanted me to come along this time.
Here is the truth- It wasn't my idea and it wasn't something I had ever really wanted to do. Now, I figured if I wasn't psyched on it then I wouldn't ever end up doing it.
In my mind I knew I didn't have to do anything... I didn't even have to jump.
I will say that I get air sick and I was hot and nauseated by the time we were ready to jump. It was incredibly windy and I literally couldn't breathe but once or twice for the 90 second free fall-
Longest 90 seconds of my life I was glad when we pulled the chute.
Under the canopy was pretty neat but the views were of Eloy.
Bottom line- It was a rush but not something I'd like to pursue.
I would much rather learn to base jump or paraglide it suits my lifestyle a lot more.
I can see it as a means to get to the bottom- like rappelling. |

I am now attempting to navigate, post, reply (etc..) this site with only an iPhone… Wish me luck! |
