Got to the traihead about 30 minutes prior to sunrise and started in 10 minutes later. Trail was easy to follow and the water was low in the creek. You are either crossing the creek or in it all the way to Double Arch Alcove. On the way back I realized I had not seen another hiker all morning and I had been hiking for over two hours. About 30 minutes from the trailhead I came upon four rangers hiking in for trail maintenance. I was informed the trail had been closed this morning, just after I started in, because of hornet activity. I was told to hike in the creek bed back to the trailhead. Sure glad I had an early start.
