| no partners | | | Initially, I hoped to do a traverse from Peale, but I arrived too late the previous day and decided to gain extra AEG for the trip by hiking this today. Passing graupel and cold temps only made it more interesting. While Peale has a nice social trail to the summit, this summit involves a lot of stable talus that requires one to exercise caution. I would not want to hike this when the rock is icy. A nice way to round out the trip and weekend, and I got better views from this more prominent western facing summit. |
