| no partners | | This is a fine hike. The road was not an issue, though it would be if it ever rained. The directions to the trailhead are right-on. Do bring your own toilet paper! The day we hiked it was wonderfully cool and I still consumed 100+ oz of water without a problem, so take care to bring lots of water. The quartz at the very end of the climb is beautiful and makes for a great place to relax. If the day is clear, you can see Picacho Peak and beyond to the south, Four Peaks to the east, and everything in between. We encountered only a few hikers on a beuatiful Sunday afternoon - this is no Camelback. |
