I Was planning on doing the flume trail, and ended up doing the waterfall trail, and the Verde hot springs trail. We started at the Flume trail head, and hiked to the Waterfall. We hiked about 1/2 a mile past the waterfall. THe terrain was starting to get to difficult for the dogs, and there where no real trails to follow, so we turned around. I did get on the flume trail for a short distance before heading to the Verde.
On the Verde Hot Springs trail, I took the trails to the hot springs, instead of hiking the road. I didnt cross to the hot spring.
My Uncle who has hiked all over the state, has never been to this area, so I tried to show him as much as I could in the short amount of time.
