What a difference from what Marc found!! Snow was melted, even since the morning, and had retreated to patches within bushes and on north-facing ledges.

Fun hike. The trail was spectacular enough, and we also explored a bit to find ruins. We ended up on a ledge high above some and right below a small stone wall with a window (we debated if it was a door or window). I think there may have been a better route up. Let's just say we were practicing the Leave No Trace method of dispersing our use (ie bushwacking).
