But for the less rash who are patient enough to do a little reconnoitering prior to committing to the "bag" can find at least one route to the top which is virtually "wheel chair accessible".
I'd hiked around Bren a number of times in the past, but I'd never been inspired to ever add this one to my rather anemic list of peak conquests. But thanks to VJ I found the inspiration. I bagged this one a few days BEFORE he and his guys got it on Saturday 2/2/13. Much to my surprise the addition of the peak adds a really fun option to my usual Bren Mountain circumvention hike(s). BM you ain't seen the last of LaFong!
Oh yeah, once again I gotta claim the Libra waiver on the photos I posted. Few of them warranted inclusion on this distinguished forum, but I found culling through them to find the few worthy of posting was too much for one of the Libran persuasion. Truth be told, though, I was too lazy to make the effort, so feel free to do with them as you see fit. |
