| no partners | | | Almost back by popular demand - there will soon be a new edition to SAMBA's Bike Pub Crawls. A couple of my dipsomaniacal peeps asked me to map out a new sot run. Never one to shrink from the awesome responsibility of said request, I pre-rode the route today to get an idea what kind of mileage and traffic we'd be contending with. With an eye toward safety I charted out a route that uses side streets, bike lanes, and officially designated bike routes whenever possible. The length of my proposed route, though, may prove to be a tad ambitious for some of my buddies to handle the entire Che's to Che's loop. But for those dumb enough to accept the challenge, they need only realize the operative word in the previous sentence is "proposed". We can always add to (yeah, right!) or subtract from the route to accommodate the fitness levels and , more importantly, the alcohol capacities of all crawlers. |
