| no partners | | This was by far my favorite snowshoe to date. Lots of new territory and amazing views. The weather was STELLA and I had no deadlines or commitments. The plan was to do the San Fran Ring but a post sunrise start and lots of snow and other excuses prevented me. It was hard to look at Humphrey's less than 2 miles away and forego a run at it. I thought about staying the night and doing it Sat(since I had already broken trail to Rees) but it will just have to wait. I got caught in a couple tree wells but only had to dig myself out once. I was waist deep with my snowshoes on and couldn't move....luckily it has happened before so I didn't panic and make it worst my trying to pull myself out. Great day and the company was just awesome. |
