When John was hiking his book, he needed a ride to do this one and I obliged. I learned a lot that day from the signs and also learned John can open beer bottles with his teeth.

In search of Cercocarpus Montanus…I told Chums about the allusive Mountain Mahogany and he told me about when he was a teenager his parents bought an apple tree and planted it and now it bears golden fruit or something like that. This was another good leg stretcher and ankle de-tightener. Hard-boiled eggs were kicking in and last nights Mexican was kickin out. Great weekend…thanks to all who were a part of it. Glad I made it home in time to spend some time with my daughter and her friend before I went to do some other stuff with my wife and son.
