| no partners | | | My colleague and I took a day trip down to Grand Isle to check out any remnants of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill clean up. (It's one of the few active areas for continued clean-up from the spill that occurred in 2010.) Along the way we stopped at the Grand Isle State Park. I'm so happy we spent the $1/person admission charge. Our brief visit involved going out to the observation tower and pier, though there were a couple very short, sandy (probably very buggy) nature trails we could have done. Overall, a nice stop. |
