| no partners | | | Final day at the track. Nephew made several nice passes in the Keyhole to finish P11. Friend had packed up and gone home. (Low-budget teams don't carry spare engines.) The Indy race was amazingly caution free, with Marco Andretti making at least five passes off the back-stretch, heading into Madness, but the race was won by Charlie Kimball. It was so warm that three Lynchburg Lemonades and a Bud Light did not give me a buzz. Oh, and I walked a bit more than yesterday, as wife mostly rested her feet. |
