| no partners | | | Before leaving for home, I toured the valley a bit east of Alamosa. I had passed through last September, and again a few days before, but it had been since 2008 that I really spent any time enjoying the views and spending some time reminiscing about some of those mountains. Lovely area, but winter comes early, wind and snow are cold, and some places are just for visiting. Still, love to look. Reminded me a little of the eastern Sierra. |
